I would not be a Deplorable without Rush, his content, and his spirit of education with humor.
Requiescat in pace.
UPDATE: A long-time reader sends:
As the last few months have filtered past, the deaths of a few people stood out to me. They were the deaths of people who believed in and loved the USA so completely and deeply that you could not imagine one without the other. It started with Charlie Daniels – the heart of American goodness and pride. Then the death of Walter Williams – the honest intellect of American opportunity and potential. And now the fatal triumvirate is complete with the death of Rush Limbaugh – the spirit of Rugged Individualism and of American Exceptionalism.
Charlie, Walter, and Rush, RIP.
The United States of America, RIP.
They are the same.
