I was discussing with someone why the CIA is always portrayed in movies as evil and malevolent. It’s because they are. At least in DC, which currently has more people at desks than in the field recruiting spies.
This started downhill several years ago with the recruitment of Mormons because, languages. Then came the Marines….
And now we find that BlackWater, et al, are being contracted to surveil Americans because they are private companies and thus not bound by “constitutional restrictions.”
There’s a thing called “parallel construction” which you can look up, which is what makes this so bad.
Thanks to Bush, Kavanaugh, and a host of others, the Patriot Act is now coming home in a big way. You won’t like it.
