    Thank you for posting this. In addition to the truth in its message, it helped me finally realize the God’s-honest-truth in what you have told us so often: no one is coming to save you, you are on your own, and the biggest threat to our safety may be within 5 miles of our current position.
    After reading the article, I sent the video to my neighbor with granddaughters in the Fredericksburg area so he could alert them to the increasing danger of simply going to the store. To my shock, he completely ignored what happened to the young woman and her child and went straight to defending the dispatcher and the police that did nothing to help. I should note that he has close family ties to law enforcement so they are beyond reproach no matter the circumstance. “But that could have been your granddaughter and her child in that car”, I said.

    “The mayor told them to stand down…they were just following orders…” he said.

    And there it is. With some law enforcement unwilling to take a stand against tyrannical mayors and the possibility of neighbors standing indifferent as we get hauled away under the banner of “they were just following orders”, now is the time to stop lying to ourselves and determine who will fight when the time comes.

  11. The Captain is on the money. Our country is now a foreign land.
    I have thought about this, and I will hit the gas and plow over whomever is in the way. I will claim that I was so terrified that I cannot remember doing anything. Perhaps I meant to hit the brake? Did I black out momentarily from fear? Could have happened. Did they just hit the car? Are you sure? Because I thought I heard gunfire……A thousand and one ways to deflect, defeat, and short circuit. All in the name of fear. It is the strongest primal response in the human body.
    If I am not in a car, then I will need to quietly and effectively kill things. This will be harder to deflect-but we are all in face burkas now and I can walk slowly and quietly. I have graduated to biking breathable neck gaiters face scarves that are dustproof. Or balaclava half face masks that can be worn as a head gaiter/
    headgear/helmet/full face mask/hat/open balaclava half face mask/hoodie or neck gaiter. Depending on my AO for whatever purpose is how I configure it. Both are a lot cooler in hot weather and the balaclava really can cover you up-including the dustproof eye covering. The hard part-for me-will be to do the deed and move on. It really is not in my nature to do that. I hope one of them pisses me off, because I am better when I am angry. (A woman thing? I do not know.) I do think that all of us need to get a lot tougher. The world is simply evil.
